Kettova legal office Singapore

About the Firm

A Practice Built on Careful, Considered Work

Kettova was founded with a straightforward purpose: to provide Singapore businesses and individuals with clear, well-prepared legal counsel at every stage of a matter.

Our History & Mission

Kettova began as a small advisory practice serving Singapore-incorporated companies navigating corporate transitions. Over time, the scope of work expanded to include company dissolution support and notarial services — all connected by a common thread: the need for methodical, clearly communicated legal assistance.

Our work is concentrated in areas where precise documentation and procedural discipline matter most. A poorly drafted affidavit, a gap in due diligence, or a missed statutory filing can each have significant downstream consequences. The structure we bring to every engagement is intended to reduce that kind of risk.

We are a small practice by design. Every client works directly with a qualified solicitor, and we take on a manageable volume of matters at any one time. This is not the result of caution — it is the only way we know how to work to the standard we hold ourselves to.

Our Values

Transparency

Fees, timelines, and process steps are discussed openly at the outset. We do not introduce surprises at the billing stage or when something is nearly complete.

Precision

The work we produce — whether an affidavit, a share purchase agreement, or an ACRA filing — is checked carefully before it leaves our office.

Discretion

Client matters and information are treated with the seriousness the professional obligation of confidentiality demands. This is not a policy — it is a fundamental part of legal practice.

A small team of qualified solicitors and legal professionals. Each matter is handled by a qualified practitioner — not delegated to junior staff without supervision.

The following protocols govern how we approach each matter — adapted to the particular requirements of Singapore legal practice.

Law Society of Singapore Compliance

All practitioners at Kettova hold current practising certificates issued through the Law Society of Singapore and adhere to the applicable professional conduct rules.

PDPA Data Protection Compliance

Client information is collected, stored, and handled in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act. We do not retain data beyond what is necessary for the conduct of the matter.

Written Scope of Work

Every engagement begins with a written scope letter confirming the services included, the fixed fee, and the anticipated timeline. Changes to scope are documented and agreed in writing.

Anti-Money Laundering Procedures

Client and transaction due diligence is conducted in accordance with the applicable MAS and Law Society guidelines on AML and countering the financing of terrorism.

Solicitor-Client Privilege

Communications between Kettova and its clients are protected by legal professional privilege. We take this obligation seriously and apply it consistently across all practice areas.

Document Quality Review

All documents prepared by Kettova — affidavits, transaction agreements, statutory filings — undergo a review by a senior practitioner before they are delivered or filed.

Singapore Corporate Legal Counsel

Corporate transactions in Singapore involve multiple parties, layered documentation, and statutory timelines that cannot be missed. Whether a buyer completing an acquisition, a board resolving to wind up a company, or an individual seeking a sworn affidavit, the demands of each situation are distinct. Kettova's approach is to understand those demands before any work begins, scope the engagement clearly, and carry it through with discipline.

The firm's practice areas — mergers and acquisitions advisory, winding up and liquidation support, and affidavit preparation — were selected because they share a common requirement: precision in documentation and process. That focus allows the team to develop deep familiarity with the procedural landscape in each area, rather than spreading attention across too broad a range of legal work.
